Support from companies varies from financial donations to team building days and donations in-kind.
Barclays, for example, have not only donated the funds to produce the annual report and newsletters this year, but have also got involved with a team of employees in a project at the Community Home.
Ways your company could get involved include:
- Taking part in a fundraising event for the homeless, such as a sponsored walk or sleepout.
- Spending a day with your colleagues volunteering in one of the projects.
- Donating funds towards the production costs of one of our newsletters or leaflets.
- Offering your facilities or services to our clients and residents.
Business in the Community is an organisation which encourages businesses to foster links with their local community.
We also receive valuable support from retail outlets such as Ocado, John Lewis, B&Q and Asda.
