CHURCHES
The Trust’s origins are closely linked to St. Mary’s, the parish church of Watford, so it is perhaps not surprising that churches have always provided tremendous support for our work.
There are around 100 churches that help through volunteering, praying, making donations, collecting food or fundraising.
Our Church Reps have a key part to play in keeping the churches in touch with what’s happening at the Trust. A Rep’s role is to help spread the word about forthcoming events, volunteer needs, vacancies and other relevant updates about the life and work of the Trust. Church Reps receive regular newsletters and Annual Reports on behalf of the church and distribute them to church members.
