COMMUNITY HOME

  • A longer stay hostel for 5 homeless people with high level needs through drug or alcohol dependency
  • Residents live together as a family
  • At the home, they are offered stability, hope and a healthier lifestyle
  • A ‘wet house’ where controlled, limited drinking is accepted as part of an alcohol reduction programme
  • Referrals are made to professional counsellors and detox programmes

14 different residents have stayed at the Community Home in the last year with occupancy levels at 95%.

Community Home “The Trust's new minibus has enabled us to go on more trips out, helping residents integrate with the community and take encouraging positive steps forward. It has been good to see clients who do not always engage really excited by places like RAF Hendon, Woburn Safari Park and Hatfield House”. Rob Edmonds
