Welcome to the Watford New Hope Trust Harvest Information page

Donations given at harvest time (and throughout the year) are really appreciated.

They help to keep our costs down and enable us to cater for our clients and residents all year round.  For example due to your generosity the cost for each person visiting the Haven Day Centre is kept to 17p per person per day.

Needs

The Needs Page shows the main items of harvest goods that we require and which would help us the most. The list has been divided into two.

Priority needs:
The top section consists of items which are used regularly/daily and tend to run out  by February.

Other needs:
In the bottom section are items that are not a priority, but are still much needed and useful.

In order to maximise our limited storage space we have been selective in our requests for goods.  Items that are both useful and easy to account for and store are tinned goods.  Commodities such as cereals have been deliberately omitted as there are problems storing them due to their bulk and the difficulties incurred safely storing them.

Equally if you would prefer to send a monetary donation that is equally acceptable and would enable us to buy necessities throughout the year.

* We also provide recyclable carrier bags...just ask!

Speakers

If you would like to have a speaker at your your harvest festival service, and/or for a collection of donated goods please contact us as early as possible.
